The forums are working again and hopefully the rest of the transition will be complete by the weekend. No more chugging comics. The traffic had gotten so high so fast, we didn’t expect this move to be taking place for a while yet and I wasn’t ready for it. Needless to say, it was like a Chinese fire drill to get the transition done quickly and smoothly. I am still moving the mail servers so if you sign up for membership for the site or on the forums and do not get an email for confirmation, let me know. The mail server move should be complete by some time tomorrow night, providing the name servers have had their caffeine. Thank you for your patience during transit.

Another thank you, this time to kaledivh, for his generous donation! You help keep Collar 6 running, both Wolf and myself are ever so grateful for you all. Pat yourselves on the back. (Don’t get carried away with that, I don’t want to hear any screaming or the ball gags will come out.)

The traffic has increased so much that we need more bandwidth to handle it with better speed. We didn’t expect this to happen so quickly but the comic has become quite popular over the past 5 months.

You will see no difference in address or anything so don’t worry. Collar 6 will still be at http://collar6.com. Downtime (if any) will be minimal.

We appreciate your patience during this transition and hope you enjoy the faster speed in viewing the comic.

If you have questions or concerns, I’ll do my best to answer them promptly. I’ll be working on setting up the site on the new server most of the afternoon so, please bear with me.

I’d also like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Aidenke for his way too generous donation. You might want to thank him too as it was he who made the transfer to a faster server possible! Seeing this project off the ground has been a wonder to my eyes. His work has been too long in the shadows and it’s time he has the right place to show it off. Hon, let it rock.

Behind the scenes has been a roller coaster but the output product is worth it all. Most of all, I hope you all enjoy the site as much as we have put our hearts and souls into making it.

There will be updates and changes occurring frequently as we see things that we need to bend (nesting of comment replies is in the works so for now, you’ll just have to get a dose of caffeine and link them up in your head.) Do express your ideas and opinions, we build upon them.
