There will be no more self-degrading rants by Wolf… or he will be gagged. (Don’t worry, I won’t tie his hands, the comic will go on.)

The progress this comic has made in just barely 6 months is phenomenal. Our deepest gratitude to those of you who keep coming back as loyal fans and welcome to all the new ones. Collar 6 is ranking right up at the top with some of the best webcomics that have been in existence for years. This has put work into overtime as the daily traffic has exploded in the last month. (Good thing I upgraded the bandwidth!)

I don’t know if any of you have noticed the voting buttons down at the bottom of the page but they are there for a good reason (and it’s not to win a popularity contest or ego boosting.) The higher Collar 6 is ranked on those sites, the more exposure the comic gets. This is basically free advertising! So if you really want to help Collar 6 out, just VOTE!!! Really, what’s a few clicks a day? You are able to vote once a day and it’s a great help in promoting the comic. Make it a habit or I’ll have to bring out my flogger.

I’m sure you’ve noticed the advertising on the site. This is for exposure purposes only as it generates revenue so the site can be advertised elsewhere using that revenue. All other expenses for the site are covered by me. I know it’s worth it. How about you?

There is a donate button at the top of the site now. I don’t want any of you to feel like there is pressure on this. This was something we had decided to do in case any of you wanted to contribute to Collar 6. Do not have guilt if you don’t. I do want to let you know that $1 goes a long way. No, nobody is going to think a donation of $1 is cheap. If you know how to use it, it’s worth a fortune! (This is another reason why I handle the money… besides being his Mistress, of course.) If you can afford $1… it’s surely appreciated. If not, in the state of the world economy, it is surely understood.

Long range plans are in the works. Hard copy plans are already in the works and will happen when enough episodes are compiled. There are also plans for merchandise which is another area where you, the fans, are needed for input. What merchandise would you like to see for Collar 6? I expect answers.

I will end this rant for now but do know, I will be watching.

Well, the time has come for the site to be moved to a larger and faster server. The traffic has increased so much that we need more bandwidth to handle it with better speed. We didn’t expect this to happen so quickly but the comic has become quite popular over the past 5 months.

You will see no difference in address or anything so don’t worry. Collar 6 will still be at http://collar6.com. Downtime (if any) will be minimal.

We appreciate your patience during this transition and hope you enjoy the faster speed in viewing the comic.

If you have questions or concerns, I’ll do my best to answer them promptly. I’ll be working on setting up the site on the new server most of the afternoon so, please bear with me.

Collar 6 is now up and running on the new server. The forums are working again and hopefully the rest of the transition will be complete by the weekend. No more chugging comics. The traffic had gotten so high so fast, we didn’t expect this move to be taking place for a while yet and I wasn’t ready for it. Needless to say, it was like a Chinese fire drill to get the transition done quickly and smoothly. I am still moving the mail servers so if you sign up for membership for the site or on the forums and do not get an email for confirmation, let me know. The mail server move should be complete by some time tomorrow night, providing the name servers have had their caffeine. Thank you for your patience during transit.
